Heritage Hymns of Our Faith

Featuring Linda Hill Lally, organ and piano, and Barbara Watson, piano

Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH

As we continue to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, come and listen to a piano/organ recital featuring great hymns of our faith.  Peace Lutheran Church’s Director of Music, Linda Hill Lally, will be presenting a recital with special guest artist, pianist Barbara Watson.  The recital will feature recognizable hymn tunes set in new and unique ways.  The program will feature organ solos, piano 4 hand duets, as well as piano/organ duets.  The concert is free and open to the public.

Linda Hill Lally, Director of Music at Peace Lutheran Church, grew up in Beavercreek and was active in both choir and band throughout her years in school.  She has a Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Pedagogy from Capital University and a Master of Music in Accompanying from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Barbara Watson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Ohio University, and two Master’s Degrees, in Choral Conducting and Music Education, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has completed all three levels of the Orff Schulwerk certification program from the University of Cincinnati, the University of Northern Colorado, and George Mason University. Barbara has been the Music Specialist for grades K-2 at Indian Hill School District for over twenty years.
